About Bain & Co. Construction

Bain & Co. was founded by Mitchell Scott-Fell in 2023. After over two decades in the construction industry, both commercial and residential. Mitchell established Bain & Co. with the mission of delivering a first class building experience for select clients. Bain & Co. services both Residential and Commercial projects in the California market. Bain is a family name given to each son as a middle name. Bain & Co. was founded on the idea of someday being a gift to his own sons.

About Mitchell

Mitchell grew up in Sydney, Australia where he attended Saint Jospeh’s College and Bond University, majoring in Construction Management and Sustainable Development. Growing up, he learned the value of hard work while laboring for his dad’s commercial building company and working on the family cattle ranch.

After graduating from University, he moved to California and married his wife Natalie, where he began his professional career working on custom homes for a local Del Mar Custom Home Builder. From there, he launched into a Project Management role at two large commercial building companies in Southern California. He developed professionally in a leadership role while working on exciting projects around San Diego.

In his career, Mitchell has built over 3 million sq ft of ground up and renovated projects including Industrial, Schools, Office Improvements, Manufacturing, Federal Buildings and Luxury Custom Homes. Throughout his career, the common denominator has always been the client relationship and delivering a quality product.

Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys spending time with his four young sons and wife. Together, they enjoy skiing, fishing and cheering on the San Diego Padres!
